Chelsea 0-1 Man City, FA Cup Final: Semenyo Stunner Keeps Guardiola's Men On Track For Domestic Treble
Manchester City rode a moment of brilliance from Antoine Semenyo to beat Chelsea 1-0 and lift the FA Cup trophy at Wembley Stadium on Saturday (May 16, 2026). The forward produced a spectacular back-heeled goal in the 72nd minute to keep City in the hunt for a domestic trophy treble. Pep Guardiola’s team is also second in the Premier League, two points behind Arsenal with two rounds to go. Meanwhile, the defeat means Chelsea will end the season trophyless — a year after being crowned Club World Cup champions — in what has been a crisis-ridden campaign.
