Arsenal 0-1 Man City LIVE Score, Premier League: Haaland Gives Pep Guardiola's Side Lead Against Gunners

What an incredible display of counter attacking football from Man City! After defending a corner, Doku ran away with the ball down the left flank before playing a sumptous ball to find Haaland's run. The Norweigian run into the box and shot towards the near post, but Raya made the save. Eze tried to clear the loose ball but ended up hitting it against Rice, and luckily for him, it went over the bar for a corner.

A slip from Nunes in his half gave Arsenal the chance to run with the ball. Zubimendi played it to Saka, who cut inside and had a shot at goal that was blocked. The rebound fell to Zubimendi who went for the spectucular, but missed, and City clear the danger.

Arsenal's best chance of the match so far! The ball is played to Saka on the right, and his first touch is brilliant before the cross into the box almost finds Gyokeres. City's clearance falls to Zubimendi just outside the box. The Spaniard has an ambitious go at goal, and it flies JUST wide over the bar.

Arsenal make a double change at half-time, bringing on Bukayo Saka (who has the armband) and Eberechi Eze. Surprisingly, Noni Madueke is brought off, and is Mikel Merino. Arteta will hope that the added pace will finally get the better of the City defenders in the second half. Man City brings on Matheus Nunes in place of the injured Khusanov at right back.

The referee blows the half-time whistle, and City lead one-nil courtesy of Haaland's early goal. Madueke has been, by far, the best player for Arsenal, and forced a good save from Donnarumma in the first minute of injury time. However, the hosts are yet to get a proper sight of goal.

Arsenal are pushing hard for an equaliser before the half-time whistle. A gorgeous ball from the right flank by Timbers looked dangerous, but none of his teammates had made an anticipatory run, and City somehow clear. The City full-backs are looking shaky.

Bernardo Silva earns the first yellow card of the match after a completely unneccesary and late challenge on Gabriel. Four fouls from City so far, and none from the home side.

Arsenal are looking more lethal now. Noni Madueke has been a constant threat down the right, and he works his way past the full-back before cutting back across the face of goal. It evades everyone in a red shirt, but the Gunners are knocking on the door.

Reijners picked the pocket of Merino and worked his way into the edge of the box before taking a snap shot at goal. Raya does very well to good down in time and hold on to the ball, with Haaland lurking around.

Arsenal have kept up the high tempo of the match, seeking an equaliser. However, Donnarumma is earning the wrath of the home support after taking just a little bit long with his wickets. The Italian is walking a tight rope with his time wasting tactics.

What a perfect start from Pep Guardiola's team!! Despite having very little of the ball, City win the ball in thier own half. Reijnders runs at least thirty yards with the ball before picking up Haaland's run on the right. The Norweigian takes it and finds the far corner with a calm finish with his right foot. First shot from City, and first goal.

Arsenal are bossing the ball in the early stages of the game, having 77% possession. However, there's yet to be any attacking threat other than an inviting run from Madueke that Gvardiol cut out intelligently. The visitors, for now, are not troubled too much.

Backed by a loud and proud group of supporters who are making themselves head, Arsenal come out on the pitch against City. The away side get the match underway, but are immediately pressed by the Gunners.
