F1: Max Verstappen Wins 6th Consecutive Title With British GP, Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton Get Podium Place Too

Starting on pole position, Verstappen was overtaken off the line by McLaren's Norris but swept back into the lead on lap five and held on until the end.

After suffering an initial setback, Dutch driver Max Verstappen recovered to win British GP on the Silverstone Circuit on Sunday to grab his sixth consecutive title. British drivers Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton took the second and third place on the podium.

Starting on podium, Verstappen was overtaken by Norris during the course of the first four laps, but once he got the lead in the fifth lap, he maintained the lead for the remainder of the race.

Norris managed to keep his second position throughout the race, despite facing numerous challenges. He also sent wheel-to-wheel with Hamilton after a safety car restart, but managed to hold on to his spot to give McLaren its best finish in a race this year and since 2021.

Norris' team-mate and McLaren rookie Oscar Piastri secured the fourth place, whereas Mercedes' George Hamilton closed the top five.

Sergio Perez, who started the race in 16th position, gained ten places to finish the race sixth. Fernando Alonso, Alex Albon, Charles Leclerc and  Carlos Sainz Jr occupied spots 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th, respectively.
