Jersey have beaten Scotland by one wicket in match 9 of the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier 2025 at the Sportpark Westvliet, The Hague on Friday. The win has boosted their hopes of qualifying into the 2026 T20 World Cup while ended any such chances of Scotland.

Scotland's top order was jolted by Harrison Carlyon who picked up three wickets in total. The Scots were six down for just 64 in 10.4 overs when Matthew Cross and Mark Watt put up a slow but steady partnership to take Scotland to a respectable 133/7 in 20 overs.
Jersey scored 81/1 in 11 overs and looked set to get a convincing win before Scotland pulled things back. The Scots kept striking and did not partnerships develop which meant that in the last over, Jersey needed five runs with just two wickets in hand. Benjamin Ward got out on the second ball of the final over to give Scotland hopes but Jersey managed to score a single off the final ball to get a massive win.
