Uttar Pradesh’s Rinku Singh lit up Coimbatore on Wednesday with a superb century against Tamil Nadu in their Ranji Trophy Round 5 clash. The left-hander got there in 157 balls, cracking nine fours and three sixes, adding another ton to his season after his unbeaten 165 against Odisha.
The 28-year-old had missed several rounds while touring Australia with India’s T20 squad, but he slipped back into red-ball rhythm without hesitation.
Kerala sit firmly on top after piling up 269/3 and 281, with Sachin Baby and B. Aparajith smashing centuries and stitching together a massive 176-run stand that has pushed Madhya Pradesh out of the contest.
Aparajith has retired hurt, as Aditya Padinjat reports, but the real question now is whether Kerala fancy a late charge, bowl MP out again and chase a win. Ahammed Imran walks in with that possibility wide open.
Baroda resist stubbornly, reaching 124/7 and 166, as Atit Sheth and Raj Limbani put together a gritty 49-run partnership across nearly 13 overs. They’ve slowed Vidarbha’s charge, but the big question is how much longer this duo can keep the bowlers at bay.
Mumbai crush Pondicherry by an innings and 222 runs, leaving no doubt about their dominance. After racking up a massive 630/5 declared, they wrapped up the chase with Jayant Yadav falling last to Ayush Mhatre. A commanding win and a handy bonus point for Mumbai in this round.

Jharkhand could never recover from the 1st innings deficit of 239 runs and were bundled for just 158 in their 2nd innings. The left arm Saurabh Kumar was the wrecker-in-chief for Andhra with his five-wicket haul, supported well by Tripurana Vijay, who picked up 3 scalps.

Assam got bowled out for just 200 in their 1st innings, Mohammed Shami along with Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal picked 3 wickets each for Bengal. Shazbad Ahmed hit a century for Bengal, who along with Sumanta Gupta (97) put Bengal in a strong position in the match.
Gujarat are looking in control against Uttarakhand on Day 4 of Elite Group C match in Dehradun. Uttarakhand are loitering at 121/4 in their 2nd innings while chasing a target of target of 344. They have lost their in-form captain Kunal Chandela for just 4 runs which is major blow to their chances of chasing down the target.

In response to Rajasthan's mammoth 570 runs in the 1st innings, Delhi are tottering at 116/3 in their 2nd innings after being wrapped up at 296 in the 1st innings. They were then asked to follow on by Rajasthan.
Bihar and Mizoram are locking horns in the plate group fixture in Patna. Bihar are placed comfortably at 46/0 in their 2nd innings. Mizoram amassed 509 runs in their first innings, while Bihar also replied strongly by putting 522 on board in their first innings.
Mizoram then declared their 2nd innings for 260/6 in anticipation of a collapse from Bihar in their 2nd innings, but they started strong and are 46 for no loss currently.
