Mohammad Amir and Amad Butt bowls two solid overs in the backend of the powerplay and controls things which keeps the match balanced. Zalmi were off to a great start scoring 44 in just 4 overs and they were looking to make the powerplay bigger. But Amad and Amir pulled things back. Despite that, Babar and Haris stay unbeaten and their fireworks in the powerplay keep Zalmi alive in the chase.

On expected lines Mohammad Haris joins Babar Azam as the duo give an explosive start to Peshwar Zalmi. Haris specifically targets Asif Afridi and hits him for two boundaries in a row. Given Babar also found the boundary once in the over, it makes the over very big for Zalmi. They are on the track to keep the chase alive.

Not his natural style of play but Babar Azam shows intent straightaway as the innings starts. Gets three boundaries in two overs from Mohammed Amir and Asif Afridi and gives his team a start. Mohammad Haris on the other end is looking to add his explosive power so that Zalmi can maximise the powerplay and stay in course of the chase.

Aamer Jamal started the last over positively as Daryl Mitchell tried to take him on straight down the ground, only to find the long on fielder. But he couldn't end the over on the same note as Sam Billings first ramped him for a six and then pulled him for a four. Still, Zalmi will consider they have dragged back what Pindiz could score and much credit has to go to Shoriful Islam who bowled a sensational penultimate over. Pindiz have put up a big score on the board and Zalmi will have to bat really well to chase this total down.

Despite the loss of two set openers, Kamran Ghulam and Daryl Mitchell have not allowed the momentum to drop and they have attacked the bowlers successfully to keep the scoring rate steady. Ghulam struck Aaron Hardie for two sixes while Mitchell played a brilliant shot to Aamer Jamal. Although Hardie had the last lough as he holes out in the backward point. Pindiz aiming a strong finish here.

Ali Raza is the one who strikes again and this time he gets the better of well-set Yasir Khan. He bowls a length delivery on the pads, Yasir Khan flicks it uppishly, times it well, but picks Jamal at deep square leg, who didn't have to move an inch. Daryl Mitchell and Kamran Ghulam get together in the pitch and look to get a strong finish now as both openers are back in the dressing room.

After a massive stand of 125 runs, finally Zalmi get the breakthrough they wanted. Ali Raza comes to attack against Mohammad Rizwan and the opener, while nearing his half-century goes for the big shot thinking to build towards a big score. The ball was on outside off but Rizwan tried to drag it on the onside. Didn't get the best connection and the long on fielder scalped an easy catch. Despite this wicket, Zalmi will need more to pull things back.
