The Black Caps' seamers, backed by Matt Henry and debutant Zak Foulkes, have exploited the green pitch and unsettled the Windies lineup throughout.
For West Indies, Day 3 is about digging deep. Their batting has faltered under pressure, and with New Zealand’s lead asserting dominance, the tourists must bat out time or knock off a target to stay alive. Skipper Roston Chase may need to reshuffle the order, perhaps banking on a resilient top-order partnership from the likes of John Campbell or Shai Hope.
With the pitch offering early seam and the weather stable for now, New Zealand have a golden chance to press for an innings-defining total or even finish off the match. West Indies will have to summon something extraordinary, discipline, grit, and may-be a bit of luck, to avoid an early blow to their series hopes.
