IPL 2025 Prize Money: How Much Did RCB Get For Winning Final? See Full Breakdown

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) clinched their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) title in a nail-biting final against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 3 June. The victory ended an 18-year title drought for RCB, with Virat Kohli’s side securing a six-run win.

Along with the maiden IPL title, the Royal Challengers also received a substantial cash prize, as did the individual players who secured prizes such as Orange and Purple Caps, as well as other awards.

The 18th season of the IPL featured the league’s highest-ever prize pool. As champions, RCB were awarded INR 20 crore, while the runners-up PBKS received INR 12 crore. Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) were awarded INR 7 crore and INR 6.5 crore for a third and fourth-placed finish, respectively.

IPL 2025 Individual Prize Money List

Along with the top-four teams, the players who won individual prizes also received cash prizes on the IPL 2025 final day.

Gujarat Titans’ Sai Sudharsan, who topped the run charts with 635 runs, won the Orange Cap and received INR 10 lakh. His teammate, Prasidh Krishna, the leading wicket-taker with 25 dismissals, claimed the Purple Cap and INR 10 lakh.

Sudharsan also bagged the Emerging Player award and the Fantasy King title, winning INR 10 lakh each for the titles. Meanwhile, MI’s Suryakumar Yadav was named the Most Valuable Player of the Season, scoring 717 runs in 16 games at an average of 65.

The other winners’ list and the associated prize money are:

  • Super Striker of the Season: Vaibhav Suryavanshi – INR 10 lakh and a Tata Curvv

  • Most Sixes Award: Nicholas Pooran – INR 10 lakh

  • Most Dot Balls Award: Mohammed Siraj – INR 10 lakh

  • Best Catch: Kamindu Mendis – INR 10 lakh

  • Fairplay Award: Chennai Super Kings – INR 10 lakh

  • Best Pitch and Ground: Delhi Capitals – INR 50 lakh
