India Vs South Africa 1st Test Day 2: Jadeja Puts IND In Cruise Control At Stumps

India were at cruise control at stumps on Day 3 of the first Test against South Africa at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. India's first innings folded at 189, with Shubman Gill retiring hurt after being injured in his neck. The Proteas, meanwhile, ended the day at 93/7, with a slender lead of 63 runs. Ravindra Jadeja ran riot, taking four wickets, dismissing both Aiden Markram and Wiaan Mulder. Kuldeep Yadav also took two wickets. Captain Temba Bavuma was the lone fighter, remaining unbeaten at stumps at 29, along with Corbin Bosch. The Men in Blue will look to wrap up proceedings in the third day itself.
