Tanuja Kanwar struck at key moments, dismissing top-order batters Hansima Karunaratne and Shashini Gimhani. Prema Rawat bowled tightly, ending with 2/9, taking out opener Sanjana Kavindi, Sri Lanka’s top scorer with 31, and Sathya Sandeepani.

In reply, India A started positively despite the early loss of Nandini Kashyap. Vrinda Dinesh led the way with a blistering 42 off 20 balls, supported by Anushka Sharma’s 27 off 18 deliveries.
At 78/1, India seemed set for a smooth chase, but quick wickets brought the score to 99/4, injecting a moment of tension. That’s when Radha Yadav anchored the innings, racing to an unbeaten 31 off 18 balls and steering India to victory in 13.3 overs.
