Netherlands beat Germany by 65 runs in Rotterdam on Wednesday (August 27, 2025) to reach the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier. The Babette de Leede-led side thus joined Ireland as the two teams to advance from Europe.

The Dutch women first posted a 175-run total on the board and then limited Germany to just 110 runs in response. Phebe Molkenboer was named the Player of the Match for her unbeaten 66-ball 91.

Ireland had already assured themselves of the top spot with five consecutive wins, while with a win over the Germans, the Dutch have ensured that even if Italy upset Ireland in the last fixture of the Europe Qualifier, the Netherlands will still finish in the top two positions.

Netherlands and Ireland will join eight other teams in the pursuit to qualify for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in England in 2026.
