Injury concern for the Biratnagar Kings as Shehan Jayasuriya goes off with a potential ankle injury. Marchant de Lange and George Munsey helped the Sri Lankan batter, who was limping and looking in extreme pain, get off the field.
Jayasuriya twisted his right ankle while trying to pick the ball and throw.
Priyank Panchal and Mark Bosisto seem to have taken control of the things here but their current run-rate (6.40) is a matter of concern and so is their strike rates.
Panchal has scored a run-a-ball 32 and Bosisto has scored 33 off 31 as of yet. With 7 overs remaining, the Yaks will have to accelerate and find avenues to hit sixes and fours.
Sandeep Lamichhane concedes just 2 runs off his first over of the match. He held a tight length, as always, and bowled a brilliant stock leg-cutter to Bosisto to conclude the over.
The Biratnagar Kings have recovered well after conceding over 20 runs in the first two overs. Marchant de Lange might have proved a bit costly, but he was also the one to struck the crucial wicket of Mark Watt for 6.
Marchant de Lange is a renowned and veteran South African bowler, who has represent the Proteas national team in the past. He has also been a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team which won the IPL in 2012 and 2014. He has also featured in the Caribbean Premier League, Lanka Premier League, and Pakistan Super League among others.
LIVE Score: 34/1 (5/20 overs)
It's all happening here at the Tribhivan stadium. After conceding 16 runs off his first over, Marchant de Lange gets rid of the danger man Mark Watt for just 6 runs. The former South African bowled it short and Watt couldn't time his shot well enough and hands an easy catch to George Munsey.
Karnali Yaks: Priyank Panchal, Mark Watt, William Bosisto, Najibullah Zadran, Pawan Sarraf, Sompal Kami (C), Gulsan Jha, Deepak Dumre (WK), Nandan Yadav, Yuvraj Khatri, Bipin Sharma

A perfect start for the Karnali Yaks, but quite a bizarre one for the Biratnagar Kings. After bowling 3 dot balls, De Lange conceded back-to-back boundaries before giving away 5 (wide) runs in the 5th ball. His first over goes for 15 runs. Priyank Panchal off to a flyer here.
Priyank Panchal and Mark Watt are out in the middle to open the proceedings. It's a bright sunny day, absolutely perfect for cricket. Former South African pacer Marchant de Lange is ready with the ball.
Karnali Yaks captain Sompal Kami has won the toss and elected to bat first. He feels very confident about the decision and hopes that his side can put up a decent total. Two changes for the Yaks.
Biratnagar Kings Sandeep Lamichhane says he also would have liked to bat first. Three changes for the Kings.
