England bowled out Australia for 567 in the 2nd innings, starting the 2nd innings with a deficit of 183 runs. Beau Webster remained not out on 71 as Brydon Care and Josh Tongue picked up 3 wickets apiece to wrap up the 2nd innings.
England got off to a bad start as Mitchell Starc trapped Zak Crawley for 1 in the very first over. Ben Duckett (42) and Harry Brook (42) got off to starts but could not convert them into a big one, which was the need of the hour, given the first innings deficit of 183 runs.
However, Bethell put up a fight and slammed his maiden Test hundred at Sydney to take England to 302/8 at the end of Day 4. They now have a lead of 119 runs over Australia with 2 wickets in hand going into the final day of the series.
Though Australia are still at the top but things could get pretty exciting on the final day of the series if England are able to take their lead over 200. Bethell holds the key for the visitors as he'll have to play a once-in-a-lifetime innings tomorrow to make a match out of it for his team.
