The third match of the tie, a singles one, pits Thailand's Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul against Denmark's Magnus Johannesen. The Thai player leads 12-9 in the first game and desperately needs to win, so as to keep his team's hopes alive.

Teeraratsakul builds on his lead to take the first game 21-17, and then opens up an 8-3 lead in the second one. He is primed to win this match and stretch the tie, unless Johannesen can make a remarkable comeback from here.
