A resolution was passed at the NDA chief ministers and deputy chief ministers' conclave on Sunday praising the valour of the armed forces and the courageous leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Modi was accompanied by several senior Union ministers and NDA chief ministers at the day-long convention of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which began in New Delhi on Sunday.

At least 20 chief ministers and 18 deputy chief ministers of NDA ruled states were present in the meeting. Senior BJP leaders, including party president JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah also attended the meeting held at Ashoka Hotel in the national capital.

Resolution Adopted

Reports suggest the resolution proposed by Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said Operation Sindoor has boosted the self-confidence of Indians.

Praising Modi's leadership, it said he has always supported the armed forces and that Operation Sindoor has given a befitting reply to terrorists and their sponsors.

Caste enumeration, the first anniversary of the Modi government in its third term and good governance issues are on the agenda of the meeting, said the BJP, which is organising the programme.

A significant part of deliberations at this conclave is devoted to best practices by different NDA state governments.

Several chief ministers made presentations on the signature schemes of their states. The meeting also paid tribute to the people killed in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
