Delhi NCR is waking up to a classic end-of-January winter vibe, cool mornings, foggy start, and a fairly calm, dry day ahead. On January 29, 2026, the minimum temperature is expected near 12°C, while the maximum may touch around 18°C, keeping the overall weather comfortably chilly.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), shallow to moderate fog is likely during morning hours, followed by partly cloudy skies as the day progresses. No rainfall is expected today, meaning the afternoon should feel much easier for outdoor plans and daily movement.

On the air quality front, Delhi NCR continues to sit in the Poor-to-Moderate range, with a chance of fluctuations depending on wind speed and pollution buildup. Stronger winds have recently helped improve AQI in some NCR areas, but overall levels may stay unstable through the end of the month.

Delhi NCR Current Weather Outlook

The day begins with foggy conditions in patches, especially in open stretches and highway zones, with visibility improving gradually by late morning. IMD forecasts indicate moderate to dense fog during early hours, after which the sky turns partly cloudy and more comfortable.

Across Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and nearby areas, the weather stays similar, cool air, light winter sun, and no major rain disruption expected today.

Delhi NCR Weather Forecast Ahead

The next couple of days may continue with cloudiness and recurring fog, especially during mornings. IMD’s bulletin also signals the possibility of very light rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds around the night of January 31, which could briefly change conditions and impact visibility again.

Meanwhile, air quality may not stay stable for long. Forecasts suggest Delhi’s AQI could swing between Poor and Very Poor over the coming days, depending on temperature dips and wind patterns.
