India will support the complete reconstruction of Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School in Nepal's Nuwakot district after floods destroyed the campus.
Principal Rajendra Dawadi evacuated more than 1,600 students after receiving multiple warnings about rapidly rising floodwaters, helping them reach higher ground before the school was swept away.
The school has a long history of India-Nepal cooperation, having been established with Indian assistance in the 1950s and rebuilt with Indian grant support in 2022.
