Including blocked seats, the film’s Day 1 advance gross stands at ₹32.92 crore, signalling strong demand as it heads into the final stretch before release.
Toxic Advance Booking Trails KGF: Chapter 2
Despite the strong pre-sales, Toxic is still behind Yash’s previous blockbuster, KGF: Chapter 2. The 2022 film reportedly generated around ₹60 crore through advance sales before its release, making it the more significant benchmark for the actor.
With two days remaining, Toxic could add substantially to its current total. However, reaching ₹100 crore through advance bookings now appears unlikely unless there is a sharp late surge.
Karnataka remains the biggest contributor to the film’s pre-release business, recording ₹15.51 crore across languages. Maharashtra follows with ₹2.99 crore, while Delhi has contributed ₹2.09 crore. Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal have recorded ₹1.62 crore and ₹1.60 crore respectively.
Kannada Version Leads Toxic Pre-Sales
The Kannada version continues to drive the strongest demand. Bengaluru alone has contributed ₹9.64 crore, followed by Mysuru at ₹1.02 crore and Kalaburagi at ₹59.78 lakh.
The Hindi version is also registering substantial interest, with Delhi-NCR leading at ₹1.75 crore. Mumbai has contributed ₹1.23 crore and Pune ₹65.04 lakh. Hindi 4DX shows have also recorded bookings across key markets.
The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on August 26. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic stars Yash alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria. The gangster drama will release in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam and has received an A certificate from the CBFC.
