Miss Universe India 2026 Winner: Kaziah Liz Mejo is the winner of Miss Universe India 2026. She was announced as the winner among 52 finalists at the grand finale held at Zee Studios in Jaipur on Sunday (August 23). Kaziah will now represent India at the 75th Miss Universe pageant, which is set to take place in Puerto Rico in November.
Vaishnavi Gannesh from Tamil Nadu is the 1st runner-up and won the Miss International India 2026 title, while Anushri Satavlekar from Gujarat is the 2nd runner-up.

The Miss Universe India 2026 finale jury was led by Sushmita Sen, India’s first Miss Universe in 1994. Former titleholders Celina Jaitly, Miss Universe India 2001, and Urvashi Rautela, Miss Universe India 2015, were also part of the panel.
Rhea Singha, Miss Universe India 2024; film producer Pragya Kapoor; entrepreneur Visha Ladhia; Miss Charm 2025 Anna Blanco; and dermatologist Dr Stuti Khare Shukla, among others, were also part of the jury.
Kaziah Liz Mejo, who hails from Kerala, is a 19-year-old law student and model from Mavelikkara. She also represented India at Miss Teen International in 2025 and was the first runner-up.
Miss Universe India, which is a national pageant selects India’s representative for the Miss Universe competition. The Glamanand Group has organised the pageant since taking over the Indian franchise in 2024.
The finalists took part in several events and preliminary rounds before the grand finale in Jaipur. The main event included speech and introduction rounds, sashing ceremony and a swimsuit competition.
The 2026 Miss Universe India edition saw around 8,000 to 9,000 aspirants, according to organisers. The final 52 contestants went through selection process that included regional state pageants, final auditions, wildcard entries and an NRI category.
