The teaser shows Steve Rogers returning home, riding his motorcycle while a soft piano version of the Avengers theme plays in the background. The next scene shows Steve unpacking his old Captain America suit and gently touching it, which gives us a hint of him turning nostalgic about the life he left behind. The heartwarming scene in the teaser is when Steve holds a newborn baby in his arms. It ends with the announcement that Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday.
What happened to Steve Rogers in Avengers: Endgame
After the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Steve chose a different path, stepping away from the battlefield and violence to start a new life with the love of his life, Peggy Carter. He handed over his shield and mantle to Sam Wilson (Falcon), who became the new Cap in the MCU.
With Chris Evans' return to the MCU, it would be exciting to see what he has to offer in Avengers: Doomsday.
