It cannot go unnoticed that ‘Sam Bahadur’ has got generally positive reviews from critics. On the other hand, ‘Animal’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has got criticism from different corners for glorifying toxic masculinity despite earning Rs 432.27 crore in India, with a global collection reaching Rs 660 crore.

As for ‘Sam Bahadur’, the biopic portrays the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, who is considered to be one of independent India’s greatest soldiers. Alongside Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra as Vicky’s wife and Fatima Sana Sheikh portraying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Coming to Vicky Kaushal, be it ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, ‘Raazi’, ‘Sardar Udham’ or his latest release ‘Sam Bahadur’, Vicky Kaushal ends up outreaching his own success game when he dons the uniform on screen.
