Carrying Telangana's investment pitch to the global stage, chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday left for the World Economic Forum (WEF) meetings in Davos, signalling the state's renewed push to attract marquee investments in next generation sectors.

The chief minister, accompanied by ministers D. Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, departed from the Shamshabad international airport after inaugurating the renovated Sammakka-Saralamma shrine at Medaram earlier in the day.

During the Davos visit, the Revanth-led Telangana Rising team is scheduled to hold a series of high-level meetings with heads of leading global companies, including Google and L'Oreal, with a focus on attracting investments in IT, artificial intelligence, life sciences and manufacturing, as well as expanding industries already established in the state.

Senior officials from the IT, industries and other key departments are part of the official delegation. At the WEF, CM Revanth is set to engage with CEOs of global corporations, investors and representatives from diverse sectors.

"At the Telangana Pavilion in Davos, the CM will hold separate meetings with the heads of leading companies such as Google, Salesforce, Unilever, Honeywell, L'Oreal, Novartis, Tata Group, DP World, Infosys, and Cisco. The chief minister will also participate in round-table meetings with international representatives," a senior official said.

The chief minister is expected to use the platform to invite fresh investments, promote industrial expansion and position Telangana as a preferred destination for emerging technologies. Officials have been instructed to showcase the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document and the state's investment potential during the deliberations.

As part of the WEF engagements, Revanth will unveil the Telangana Life Sciences Policy 2026-2030 and the Telangana AI Hub. He is also set to present the Telangana Rising 2047 vision at a special event. The CM-led delegation will present the state's three-zone economic framework—core urban region economy (CURE), peri-urban region economy (PURE) and rural agriculture region economy (RARE)—along with investment opportunities across these regions.

The chief minister will pitch flagship projects such as Bharat Future City, Musi rejuvenation, regional ring road, regional ring rail and proposed manufacturing zones, while outlining Telangana's strengths as a global investment destination.

At WEF-2026, Telangana will highlight its long-term growth vision, investor-friendly ecosystem and development agenda to global leaders. An exclusive programme has been planned to present the state's GSDP growth, industrial policies, infrastructure initiatives and the long-term roadmap under Telangana Rising 2047.
