Artemis Health Sciences Foundation has officially launched the Her Voice Skill Development Programme on Tailoring & Stitching in Gurugram, marking a significant step towards strengthening women’s empowerment at the grassroots level.
The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Shalini Kanwar Chand, Director at Artemis Medicare Services Ltd., President of Artemis Health Sciences Foundation, and CSR Chairperson. During the launch, Ms. Shalini shared that Her Voice is her dream project and highlighted that true empowerment is multi-dimensional. She emphasised that along with accessible healthcare, women also require vocational training, financial literacy, and confidence-building opportunities to thrive socially, economically, and emotionally.
Ms. Shalini noted that “change takes time, and we must remain patient to see meaningful transformation.” She further added that Her Voice has been envisioned as a 5-year holistic movement, addressing these essential pillars to promote sustainable growth, independence, and long-term transformation.
A cohort of 25 women from Sector 8, Gurugram has been selected to participate in this initiative dedicated to women’s health, empowerment, and self-reliance.
Supported by Artemis Health Sciences Foundation and implemented by Eternity Foundation, the programme aims to create safe spaces for open dialogue, equip women with essential life skills, and foster an environment where every woman’s voice is recognised, valued, and strengthened.
Ms. Shalini’s interaction with the women during the launch was deeply encouraging. The half-day engagement opened multiple avenues for collaboration and set the stage for enhanced community-driven interventions in the coming years.
