Videos shared by the BJP showed some men ransacking shops and throwing stones at the police forces present there, while Trinamool’s videos showed armed men carrying guns and weapons.
Earlier, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee condemned the incident and said the culprits won't be spared, and the law will take its course.
