There have been 179 deaths in the country due to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, which is also the lowest in 193 days, as per Union Health Ministry.
252 deaths were reported in India in the past 24 hours.
The Union Health Ministry said the active cases now comprise 1.02 per cent of the total infections.
The passengers are asked to comply with Covid-19 necessitated regulations like social distancing, wearing masks, etc.
The death toll climbed to 4,22,662 with 640 fresh fatalities.
