On the penultimate day of the Hangzhou Asian Games, China continued to lead the way with a staggering 187 gold medals to its name by the end of Friday. China's dominance can be gauged from the fact that its gold tally is more than the sum total of the nine nations below it combined. The hosts' overall tally swelled to 353, and they will look to add many more medals on the final day. Japan was in second spot with 47 gold, and South Korea occupied the third place with 36 first-place finishes.
