The area’s multimedia WLL internet kiosks are already a runaway success. Farmers come with their damaged crops and show them to agricultural experts tied in with the system to get immediate advice. And the latest success is the four-month-old agricultural FM station, the first of its kind in India. The station, which broadcasts for eight hours a day, gives news and advice on farming, animal husbandry, poultry and other small businesses.
