An old chestnut. Two doors shielded by two guards, one a liar and the other truthful, and you don’t know which one is which. Behind one door is a famished tiger, behind the other, a ravishing princess or prince (as the case may be). You are allowed to ask any one of the guards one question of your choice. What would you ask to make sure you get the love of your life?

Ask any guard "What would the other guard say if I asked him which door leads to the princess/prince?" and choose the door not indicated in the answer.
