Ayodhya: The Yogi Adityanath government stated on Wednesday that 178 projects in Ayodhya, with a budget of approximately Rs 30,500 crore, are scheduled for completion in 2024.

A deadline of December 31 has been set for finishing priority projects within the immediate vicinity of the Ram temple, with the remaining projects to be commissioned in the following year.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and other central agencies are overseeing infrastructure projects in the city. The state government has ensured private investment amounting to Rs 6,000 crore, primarily in hospitality, tourism, and education.

This private investment is expected to result in the opening of direct and indirect job avenues for 20,000 to 30,000 people, as per local reports.
