The Government of Tamil Nadu will hold a job fair at Coimbatore's Nirmala College for Women on December 2.
Companies across several sectors are expected to be at the fair and jobs for various levels of qualifications will be in the offing.
The Tamil Nadu government is organising the job fair in Coimbatore as part of the Dr Kalaignar centenary celebrations.
Around 250 companies from sectors like textile industries, construction, engineering, information technology, automobiles, medicines, and others will participate in the job fair, according to The Times of India. It is expected that around 2,000 persons will be recruited at the fair.

The report further said that the fair is being organised by the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre. It has released phone numbers and the links for registration.
"People can register their details through the website - www.tnprivatejobs.tn.gov.in and a link -https://bit.ly/kovaijobfair2023. People can contact -94990-55937 for more information from 10 am to 6 pm. Companies that wish to participate in the job fair can contact the district employment office or can contact – 9790199681," reported The Times of India.
People who have completed classes VIII, X, XII, undergraduation, postgraduation, diploma, engineering graduates and nurses can participate in the job fair, according to the report, which added that people would need to arrive at the fair with biodata and relevant documents. There would be no fees to participate.

Successful candidates would be given job letters on the site, according to The Times of India.
