Over 2 Lakh CAPF Personnel, Including CRPF, Deployed For West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026
As West Bengal voted in its 2026 Assembly elections, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) led an unprecedented security operation. With over 2.4 lakh central personnel deployed, the force conducted route marches and launched "Operation Trust" to ensure peaceful polling across the state.
