Here Are The Portfolios Allocated To Telangana Cabinet Ministers In Newly Elected Congress Government

The newly-elected Telangana Chief Minister today allocated portfolios to 11 ministers, retaining Municipal Administration and Urban Development, General Administration and Law and Order along with other unallocated portfolios.

The portfolios assigned to the newly formed Cabinet in Telangana were officially announced through a gazette notification after receiving approval from Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.

The appointments come after Congress secured a decisive victory in Telangana assembly elections, bagging 64 out of the 119 seats.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka – Finance & Planning and Energy

Nalamada Uttam Kumar Reddy – Irrigation, Food and Civil Supplies

Damodar Rajanarasimha – Health, Medical & Family Welfare, and Science & Technology departments

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy – Roads & Buildings and Cinematography

Konda Surekha – Environment & Forests and Endowment departments

Danasari Anasuya – Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (including Rural Water Supply) and Women & Child Welfare departments

Ponnam Prabhakar – Transport and Backward Classes Welfare

Jupally Krishna Rao – Prohibition & Excise, Tourism & Culture and Archaeology

Thummala Nageswara Rao – Agriculture, Marketing, Co-operation, as well as Handlooms & Textiles

Duddilla Sridhar Babu – Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Industries and Commerce & Legislative Affairs portfolios

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy – Revenue & Housing as well as Information & Public Relations departments
