There’s no stopping for Ishaan Khatter as he is all set to join Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning and others in Netflix's limited series ‘The Perfect Couple’. The actor took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the project. He captioned it as, "New beginnings."
The post showcased the main cast for the Netflix series, which is an adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand's novel ‘The Perfect Couple’. The show has Ishaan playing the role of the groom's best friend. Netflix too shared the cast announcement and tweeted, "The Perfect Couple casting is actually perfect."
Reacting to the same, Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput gave her brother-in-law Ishaan Khatter a shout-out, and wished him on behalf of her kids Misha and Zain Kapoor. She wrote, “Cannot wait! Congratulations chachu (uncle).”

Earlier, Variety reported that Nicole Kidman has officially been roped for the series along with Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Dakota Fanning, Meghann Fahy, Ishaan Khattar, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, Mia Isac, Donna Lynne Champlin, and Isabelle Adjani.
The show stars Nicole as Greer Garrison Winbury, the groom's mother. Liev will play Tag Winbury, the groom’s Father, while Eve will play the bride. Ishaan will be seen as Shooter Dival, the groom’s best friend.
Ishaan had earlier starred in Mira Nair's ‘A Suitable Boy’ (2020) for Netflix. He was last seen in the film ‘Phone Bhoot’ (2022), co-starring Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
