Haryanvi Dancer and Singer Sapna Choudhary who rose to fame after her stint in Bigg Boss is set to make her Cannes Film Festival debut. She will be the first regional artist to walk the Cannes red carpet on 18th May.
The 76th Cannes Film Festival officially kickstarted on May 16. This year, amongst the wide roster of international celebrities invited to the annual event will be some Indian celebs making their debuts like Sara Ali Khan, Mrunal Thakur and Esha Gupta but Sapna Choudhary stands out to be the first regional celebrity attending the festival.
Sharing her joy about the same, Sapna mentioned, "I'm very grateful and really looking forward to walking the red carpet in Cannes Film Festival. It feels like I'm going to represent my culture and roots on this international platform. I'm highly excited and hope I make everyone proud."

Apart from her, Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta and Manushi Chhillar also walked the red carpet on the opening day of Cannes 2023. Also, Anushka Sharma will also make her Cannes debut this year and will honour women in cinema along with Hollywood star Kate Winslet. Also, Cannes regular Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with Aaradhya. Madhur Bhandarkar, Mrunal Thakur, Aditi Rao Hydari, Vijay Varma, Vignesh Shivan, Niharika NM, Ruhee Dosani, Ranveer Allahbadia and Dolly Singh will be part of Cannes 2023 too.
