The film ‘Sam Bahadur,’ starring Vicky Kaushal, hit theatres on December 1. The Meghna Gulzar-directed movie, which is based on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, has received incredible praise from the film industry.
Maya, Manekshaw's daughter, has now opened up about the movie and reacted to it. She admitted to having watching it twice when speaking with Indian Express. She said, “They have made the film to make the country proud of whatever it was. But, the time that I tear up, every time, I’ve seen the film twice now and I teared up both times, is the last two seconds of the film when you turn to the audience, and you’re smiling. That just kills me every time.”

‘Sam Bahadur’ is a biopic of Sam Manekshaw, the first Field Marshal of India. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars Vicky Kaushal, reuniting the two since ‘Raazi’, along with Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
