  • Congress Crushed Before Dhami’s Strategy.

In Uttarakhand’s panchayat elections, once again under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the BJP has delivered such a resounding win that Congress was left completely out of the game.

By the final day of nominations, 4 BJP district panchayat chairpersons and 11 block chiefs had already been elected unopposed — a sign of the party’s total dominance.

  • Udham Singh Nagar – Ajay Maurya

  • Champawat – Anand Singh Adhikari

The Winning Formula: Don’t Let the Opposition Enter the Field

CM Dhami’s strategy was clear—control local equations so thoroughly that the opposition would have no chance to even step into the contest. BJP’s candidate selection took caste, geographical, and social balance into meticulous account. As a result, Congress, plagued by factionalism and weak organisation, failed to even file nominations in several places.

The Road to 2027 Begins Now

These results send a clear message: BJP’s organisational strength is as solid at the grassroots as it is in power. The party has signalled that the 2027 election campaign has already begun, with CM Dhami firmly at the helm.
