Tickets For First Two Ireland T20Is Games Sold Out

Bumrah's comeback, Team India appeal draws in the locals

The admiration for the Indian cricket team across the world has resulted in a full sell out of the tickets for the first two T20Is at "The Village" Malahide Cricket Club Ground, Dublin.

Cricket Ireland on its website posted, "The first and second Men's T20 Internationals between Ireland and India are now sold out, with the third match selling quickly". However, the official capacity of the Malahide Cricket Club Ground is 11,500 only. All the three matches are scheduled to be played on the very same ground.

India will play a three match T20I series against Ireland for the very first time. Another reason for people's excitement is the return of Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah after almost one year. He has been out of cricket since September 2022. He is also going to captain the T20I side for the first time.

First-choice players have been rested for the Ireland tour. Many young players like Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad have been given the chance to show their talent and claim the spots in the national team ahead of Asia Cup and World Cup 2023.

India have played 5 T20Is against Ireland and have never lost. Bumrah along with his young teammates would like to maintain this record. India would like to come out with a proper combination ahead of the coming big tournaments.

Cricket Ireland is all set for the T20I series. Broadcasting rights have been given to TNT Sports who are going to be official broadcasters in the UK. The first T20I is scheduled on 18th August followed by the second T20I on the 20th and the final match of the series on 23rd of August. All matches will start from 7:30 pm IST.
