Iga Swiatek Vs Magda Linette, French Open 2026: Four-Time Champion Dominates To Seal Round Four Spot
Iga Swiatek registered a comprehensive win over Magda Linette to storm into round four of Roland Garros, where she'll meet the in-form Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, who hasn't lost in her last 14 matches on clay this season. The four-time champion was in trouble initially as she was behind 0-2 in the first set, but she made a remarkable turnaround to dug herself out of that hole and won the first hard-fought set by 6-4. The second set turned out to be relatively easier as Swiatek was leading by 4-1 and eventually, after a mini-comeback by Linette, won the set by 6-4 to march into the next round.
