This marks the 14th edition of the tournament, with over 500 female boxers from more than 100 countries expected to compete in what the Serbian Boxing Federation President, Nenad Borovcanin, has called "an event like never seen before."
Eyes will be on Ivanusa ‘Nancy’ Moreira, the face of female boxing in the West African nation of Cape Verde who will be aiming for her first IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships title, having twice made it to the quarterfinals in 2022 and 2023.
The Women’s World Boxing Championships 2025 are set to distribute a whopping amount of prize oment o its winners. Gold medallists will receive $100,000 USD, with silver medallists winning $50,000, each of bronze claiming $25,000 and, for the first time in the tournament’s history, all quarter-finalists will receive $10,000.
