Angel Reese is determined to lower her turnover numbers after the Chicago Sky lost to the Minnesota Lynx.

In a highly anticipated matchup between Reece and Napheesa Collier, the latter prevailed with 29 points and five assists in the Lynx's 91-78 victory.

Reese scored 22 points, shooting 64% from the field, and added 10 rebounds in the defeat, but also turned the ball over five times.

The forward has 80 turnovers this season, more than any other player in the WNBA.

Despite having more of the ball in Chicago's offence this season, Reese is disappointed in her high turnover numbers.

"For me, five turnovers, I got to get that down, got to get that together. That's unacceptable," said Reese. "And I just really have to be better.

"I think tonight, I needed to do a better job kicking [the ball] out and not turning the ball over.

"I'm definitely gonna beat myself up about this one, because I definitely turned the ball over way too many times. Again."

"I just want to stay poised, try to give my team-mates as much as I can. I know they need me so I try to come up big for them as much as I can.

"I know if I drive, they [the opposition] collapse so I can kick it out to my three-point shooters, but I need to do a better job of kicking the ball out."

The Sky are now 7-14 this season, the 10th best record in the league, while the Lynx lead the way after moving to 19-4.
