National anthems are done! Both teams are in the field as we're just moments away from the start. The atmosphere of the ground is bustling as India get things started.

India straight away are on attacking more. Pakistan are playing in white and green, while India are in all blue. We'll have back-to-back Indo-Pak matches. Two in this league and then one in the World Cup in August.

Goaaallll...! Pakistan draws first blood as Ahmad Nadeem converts penalty stroke into a goal to get the Green Shirts 1-0 ahead in the match. India appealed for a foul on Sumit but eventually it was given a goal.

Pakistan thwarts two more attempts as India get another couple of penalty corners. Harmanpreet tries by taking it to the air one last time but the goalkeeper block it to deny India an equalizer. India got plenty of opportunities to break through but they could not and with it the first quarter comes to an end.

Goaaalll...! After several failed attempts, India finally managed to break through and scored the equalizer. Abhishek converts from the centre of the circle, while Pakistan ask for review. No respite for Pakistan as the goal stays.

Goaaalll...! Harmanpreet's drag-flick is denied, but the rebound falls kindly for Nilakanta, whose thunderous strike beats the goalkeeper. India make a remarkable comeback from 0-1 down to 2-1 up, just in a single quarter.

Ashraf Rana shown the Green card by the referee for being aggressive in the Indian circle. India get a chance to extend the lead but it goes in vain. That's the halftime whistle! Both players are now heading back to the dugouts for the break.

The players are back on the pitch for the third quarter. India have been on the charge right from the start, meanwhile Ashraf enters the Indian circle with a fantastic run but his shot is blocked by the goalkeeper and India clear the ball.

Goaaalll...! That was a scintillating finish by Sukhjeet as he executes a touch with his back towards the goal, then turns up and puts the ball in with a diving hit to the top corner. The Pakistani goalkeeper had no chance and with it India extends their lead to 3-0.

Arshad is shown a green by the referee for committing a foul on Mandeep and he's out of the game for two minutes. Though India is leading by 3-1 but the match is still open as a goal by Pakistan could put pressure on the Men in Blue.

All of a sudden things are rushing! Rajinder converts a penalty corner into India fourth goal. He takes a stunning dragflick to the left of the goalkeeper, who had no chance to stop the shot.

However, as it was looking curtains for Pakistan, they get a penalty corner and Mahmood with his dragflick goes low and between the Indian goalkeeper's legs to score the second goal for his team.

Manpreet commits a foul giving Pakistan a penalty corner. The shot is blocked by the goalkeeper but Moin Shakeel converts the rebound. That's the final whistle and with it India win the match by 4-3. Pakistan made an inspiring comeback in the last few minutes, but the difference turned out to be too much to cover.
