Max Verstappen Claims Maiden Singapore Grand Prix Victory

Max Verstappen finally conquered the Marina Bay Street Circuit, securing his first Singapore Grand Prix victory on October 11, 2026. Starting from pole position, the Red Bull driver defended against Charles Leclerc at the opening corner before gradually extending his advantage in the 62-lap race. Leclerc finished second, 7.335 seconds behind, while Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli completed the podium in third, strengthening his championship position. McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finished fourth and fifth, respectively, while Lewis Hamilton slipped to sixth after Ferrari’s strategy failed to deliver a podium finish. Liam Lawson secured seventh for Racing Bulls, and George Russell recovered from 19th on the grid to finish ninth. Verstappen’s victory marked his 73rd career Grand Prix win and second consecutive triumph, adding another significant result to his 2026 campaign.
