The referee blows his whistle, and FC Seoul get today's match underway in a half-filled Misaki Park Stadium. Remember, the home side can clinch qualification to the knockouts with a draw today.
A good break by FC Seoul, who get the first chance of the day. The South Korean side work it nicely along the left edge of the box, and Son floats in a delivery towards the middle of the box that is headed just over the post.
Meanwhile, an early forced change for the home side. Ogihara hurt himself while defending, and is replaced by Kuwasaki.
Muto nets his second AFC Champions League goal in four starts to put Vissel Kobe ahead against the run of play. A long ball from the half-way line hits the head of a Vissel Kobe player and falls to Muto. His initial shot is saved well by the goalkeeper, but the rebound is fired into the back of the net.
Huge call by VAR as Vissel Kobe's goal is RULED OUT due to offside in the build-up. The Japanese side are not happy with the most marginal of calls.
Half an hour of football has been played in Kobe, and it has been a really cagey affair so far. Other than Muto's disallowed goal, there hasn't been a proper sight of goal for either side, who are still feeling each other out in the midfield.
Vissel have had more of the ball, trying to break the deadlock before half-time. However, the home side are yet to test Gu. There's a bit of injury layoff for Choi Jun, and the six minutes of added time we were about to see will surely be extended by the referee.
The referee blows the half-time whistle to bring an end to a cagey and closely contested first half. There were no real chances for either side, despite the visitors having two shots on target. Vissel had a goal overruled by VAR due to offside but otherwise failed to threaten the opposition goalkeeper.
The referee blows his whistle and Vissel Kobe get the second half underway. One change for the home side at the break, with Hamasaki coming on in place of Goke.
First big chance of the game, and it falls to Vissel Kobe. Hamasaki, who came on at half-time, tests Gu with a good shot, but the goalkeeper is up to the task.
We are at the hour mark, and Vissel Kobe have had led most of the attack in the second half. However, the hosts are not having any luck in the opposition's final third, and we are seeing the frustration in a couple of bad fouls, including one resulting in Kuwasaki getting booked.
What a solo goal from Muto to put Vissel Kobe ahead!! The winger wins the ball just ahead of his own half and then keeps on running. With little support around him, he keeps on going and going, while not a single Seoul defender puts a challenge in. Muto finally fires a shot with his right that beats the goalkeeper.
Brilliantly worked move by Vissel Kobe, with captain Sakai doubling the lead. The home side work it up the right flank before playing it to Ideguchi, who lays it off for Sakai. The full-back lets fly from the edge of the area and beats the goalkeeper.
With the match done and dusted, Vissel Kobe brung off goalscorer Muto, with Tominaga coming on in his place. A corner is played from the left side, but the Seoul defence hoofs it clear upfield.
How on earth did Vissel Kobe miss that?! A cross from the right put in a platter for Daiju Sasaki, but he somehow manages to head it wide of the post from point blank range despite having the entire goal to aim for. The miss is so spectacular, it's impressive!
The wasted effort of Sasaki doesn't mater as the five minutes of stoppage time fly by without any incidents, and Vissel Kobe have sealed a comfortable win that keeps them top of the group.
