SEGG Media Corporation, the parent company of the Sports.com app, announced a landmark five-year partnership with Super League Kerala (SLK) for exclusive global commercial and broadcast rights. The deal is reportedly worth over USD 11.6 million and marks the debut of Sports.com in live football media rights in the Indian subcontinent.

The new partnership gives Sports.com exclusive international streaming across all territories for SLK, with plans to distribute across India, the Middle East, North America, and Europe, targeting the Keralite diaspora in those places.
SEGG Media CEO and President Matthew McGahan termed the deal as “a powerful validation of the Sports.com strategy.”
“To enter the Indian market through Kerala – a state with an electrifying football culture and millions of global fans – gives us a high-growth, cash-yielding product to launch the Sports.com super app with force,” he added.
Meanwhile, SLK Director and CEO Mathew Joseph said, “With Sports.com, SLK is now moving to a next-generation fan platform that combines cutting-edge gaming and fan engagement with world-class streaming.”
The new streaming deal will introduce new features to SLK, such as a tiered subscription model, multi-language streams, real-time stats, fantasy tie‑ins, and on‑demand replays.
After a successful debut last year, the second season of Super League Kerala is set to start by the end of September this year. The first season reportedly drew about 13 million viewers, and is expected to grow by 25% after the new collaboration with Sports.com.
Earlier in May, Super League Kerala had signed a collaboration deal with the German Football Association (DFB) for shared football development and allowing the league’s players to train in Germany.
