The referee blows his whistle, and the match is underway at the National Stadium. Stay tuned for live updates!
Singapore win the first corner of the night. The delivery towards the far post is cleared just about by Saad Uddin, but Baharudin keeps it alive. He attempts a corner from the left, but it's straight into the gloves of Mitul Marma.
Bangladesh have been the better side in the opening stages of the match. However, Singapore launch a counter down the left flank, and a cross almost finds the head of Stewart after a slight deflection off the defender. Luckily for the Tigers, the cross is a bit too heavy.
Best chance of the night, and it falls to Bangladesh. After a good bit of one-two on the right, Saad Uddin plays a brilliant cross into the box. It finds Shamit Shome, completely unmarked. The Canada-born player gets a header, but it flies over the crossbar.
You can't give Ikhsan Fandi any space at the top! The striker finds a shooting chance and pulls the trigger from outside the box. However, luckily for Bangladesh, it's straight at Mitul, who blocks the shot with his body. Ikhsan then commits a foul, bringing the attack to an end.
Another corner for Singapore on the right flank, and Nakamura struts over to take it. He floats a ball towards the far corner, finding Baharudin. However, the centre back's header is weak and does not trouble Mitul.
Singapore take the lead in the blink of an eye!! A lethal counter attack from the hosts, with a ball from the midfield finding the run of Kweh. He takes a thunderous shot, which is saved by Mitul. However, he parries it straight into the path of Ikhsan, who plays a clever touch to tee up Harhys Stewart, who finds the back of the net.
A long throw from the right is exchanged between Saad and Fahim results in a long shot that flies over the crossbar. Bangladesh are on the attack down the left immediately, with Morsalin having a shot that is blocked by Baharudin. Fahim then takes a huge tumble, but the referee says no penalty.
A big blow for Singapore, as Kweh is injured after a tackle from Saad Uddin. The winger goes down in pain, and the physios signal for a change. On comes Ilhan Fandi, with all three Fandi brothers on the pitch at the same time.
Meanwhile, the fourth official signals a minimum of three minutes to be added on.
Harun becomes the first player to be booked tonight for kicking out at Zayyan. Bangladesh's resulting set-piece is cleared by Singapore, and the refere blows his whistle to signal half-time.
The players are out on the pitch, and the referee blows his whistle to get the second half underway. It's Bangladesh who get the ball rolling. No changes at the break for either side as far as I can see.
Fahamedul's trickery wins Bangladesh a corner, and Morsalin plays a ball into the box. It was targeted towards Hamza, but Topu comes across the head it, committing a foul in the process. The Leicester midfielder does not look happy.
Bangladesh are pushing, and pushing hard, for the equaliser. Topu gets a second chance to float a long throw into the box, but Singapore clear it with ease. The Bengal Tigers need to be more clinical in the opposition's third.
Another injury worry for Singapore, with Irfan Fandi going down holding his knee. Bangladesh have been relentless in their pressing and trying to attack the flanks. The hosts look really tired, and will be looking at their bench soon.
Meanwhile, a change for Bangladesh, as Shahriar Emon comes on in place of Mohammed Fahim.
A double change for Singapore as two of the Fandi brothers – Irfan and Ikhsan – are brought off by Cabrera. On comes Nathan Mao and Jacob Mahler.
Two more changes for Bangladesh as Bishwanath Ghosh and Mirajul Islam come on in places of Fahamedul and Morsalin. This is surely Cabrera trying to refresh his attack, which has been really innfective all night.
Bangladesh win a free-kick near the half-way line. Shamit takes it, but his weak ball towards the box is cleared. Hamza wins back posession and floats in a delightful cross into the penalty area. It finds Saad, whose first time shot clatters against the post. The best chance of the night so far.
Credit to Bangladesh, who continue to persevere and push for an equaliser. A corner on the right is taken by Shamit, but it evades everyone. However, the visitors regain possession, and Shamit's eventual shot is straight at the goalkeeper.
Two changes for Singapore. Hami Syahin and Amirul Adli come on to the pitch, replacing Nakamura and Abdullah. Just two minutes plus stoppage time for Bangladesh to get something out of this contest.
The fourth official holds up his board to indicate a minimum of four minutes to be added on. Four more minutes for Bangladesh to get something for all their brilliant efforts tonight.
For all their forward runs, Bangladesh fail to get the all-important equaliser, and Singapore seal a win. It was much tougher than the home side would have expected it to be, but all that matters is that the Lions end their AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers on a winning note.
