Saudi Pro League Highlights, Goal Rush: Al-Ahli Win Big Against Al-Khaleej, Al-Najma Clinch Rare Victory

Absolutely atrocious defending from Al-Ahli, and it all comes from a poor goal-kick by Mendy. Al-Khaleej players push forward in number, with Atangana giving the ball away once more. However, the move ends with a foul. Al-Ahli break at the other end, and Toney's miscued effort lands for Al Shamat, who misses from close range.

A long ball into the box is chested down by Toney, who plays it for Hamed, and the young full back pokes it into the back of the net. However, the flag goes up, as the ball had gone out. There's a VAR check going on.

There's a lengthy VAR check, and the goal stands! Hamed puts Al-Ahli ahead.

Al-Ahli are caught on the counter, and Masouras puts Al-Khaleej back on level terms. The Greek attacker makes a good run, and his shot is parried away by Mendy. The ball reaches Al-Amri, who squares it back for Masouras to find the back of the net.

Al Tulayhi breathes a sigh of relief as he avoids a potential red card. The Al-Najma player committed a foul on Yaslam, and VAR takes a second look at the incident, but opts to show the player a yellow card only.

Al-Buraikan with a brilliant finish to put Al-Ahli back ahead! The visitros take a free-kick quickly. Abu Shamat finds the run of Al-Buraikan with a no-look pass, and the striker finishes first time with his left foot past Moris.

Lazaro scores from the spot to put Al-Najma ahead right before the break!! Yaslam was the guilty party, fouling Al Tulayhi to concede a penalty, which Lazaro dispatches past Grohe.

The second half is underway in both Saudi Pro League matches. Al-Shabab make one change at the break, replacing Al-Azaizeh with Saeed. One change for Al-Ahli, with Bakor replacing Demiral.

Al-Shabab had found the back of the net, but their celebrrations are cut short as a VAR review flags Hoedt offside, so the goal is chalked off.

It's an own goal from Al-Salem!! Brilliant work by Goncalves, who cut inside and dummied the defenders before floating in a cros which hit the head of Al-Salem before going past Moris.

There's a lengthy VAR check for a possible penalty after the ball struck an Al-Khaleej player. However, the referee says that it struck his foot, so there's no penalty. It's a corner for Al-Ahli.

Not a single shot by Al-Shabab in the second half as bottom side Al-Najma are well and truly dominating the contest. The hosts make a change, with Bouttoba coming in placeo of Al-Tulyhi.

Matheus Goncalves with the fourth goal for Al-Ahli! It's a brilliant finish from the Brazilian, who cuts inside before pulling the trigger from the edge of the box. An Al-Khaleej defender comes in to head it away but inexplicably pulls out, and Moris is late to jump, giving him no chance.

A brilliant save by Mendy to tip King's goalbound header to the crossbar, keeping Al-Ahli's commanding lead intact. The fourth official holds up his board to indicate a minimum of one minute to be added on.
