Bangladesh would feel they ought to have been ahead, given their dominance on the ball and in the Pakistan box. But the Green Shirts would be content with the way have defended to keep the scoreline 0-0.

It's still one-way traffic as Bangladesh are hogging possession and hardly letting Pakistan enter their half. Less than five minutes remain in the regulation 90 and a Pakistan comeback from here is looking increasingly improbable.

Seven minutes have been added to the second half as stoppage time. That's enough time in theory to effect a comeback, but the progression of play so far suggests the chances of that happening are remote.

They earn a dominant 2-0 victory over Pakistan to go on top in Group B and take a solid step towards the semi-finals. The Green Shirts, meanwhile, face a do-or-die scenario going into the blockbuster match against arch-rivals India on March 26.
