Konate puts Liverpool ahead!! The corner is floated in from the right. Both Ekitike and van Dijk attack it, and it flies towards the far corner where Konate comes flying in to head it past Sommer. However, the Inter players are claiming hand-ball, and VAR are taking a look at it.
Ekitike has the best chance for Liverpool so far. The French forward used his pace to leave Acerbi on the floor before having a shot towards the near post, but Sommer was up to the task and made a good save.
Inter, however, suffer yet another injury blow as Acerbi injured his hamstring. He comes off for Yann Bisseck.
Liverpool showing real signs of life at San Siro. Jones had a very good chance after being found by a terrific pass. The midfieidler took on Bastoni before firing from just outside the bar, but Sommer saw it all the way and made a good save. Gravenberch then has another crack at it, but this time, it's much easier for Inter's goalkeepe to hold on to the ball.
A massive blow for the Nerazzurri. Calhanoglu has to come off after suffering an injury, and he is replaced by Zielinksi. How costly will this loss be for the home side?
It has been a muted start to the half. Liverpool stitch up a good bit of play, with Szoboszlai and Isak combining before teeing it up for Joe Gomez. The right-back floats in a ball towards the middle, but Sommer grabs on to it.
Referee Felix Zwayer blows his whistle, and Liverpool get tonight's match underway at San Siro. Can the much-changed Reds get the better of the home side, who are in good form of late? Stay tuned for live updates from the game!
