The referee blows her whistle and India get today's match unerway. The Young Tigresses, playing in orange, are on the attack right away in Bangladesh's half.
The first real chance of the match, and it falls to India. A good long ball found the run of Pritika, who beat the offiside trap before trying to find the far post. The onrushing Yearzan put the striker off, and her miscued shot almost turned into an assist for Pearl Fernandes. However, the India forward can't reach to the ball in time.
What a stop from Yearazan!! India break with pace down the left flank. One of the forwards got past her her marker and had a shot, trying to find the near post. It was creeping in towards the left corner, but Yearzan got down in time to block the shot with her feet.
A lot of attacking intent from both sides, even if the quality has been missing. Bangladesh attempt to break in number, and Mamoni floats in a powerful cross from the left that almost found Prity. However, the striker is just inches short of the ball.
Bangladesh have taken the lead!! The Bengal Tigers win a free-kick on the right edge of the box. It's floated in towards the far post by Mamoni. The bounce surprises Munni, who can't punch it away, and captain Arpita Biswas bundles it in.
Extremely surprising decision from Peter Butler, making a double change in the first half despite his side having the lead. Mamoni Chakma, who assisted the only goal of the match, and Kranuching Marma are both brought off. Replacing them are Shanti Mardi and Bonna Khatun.
Brilliant finish from Alpi Akter to double Bangladesh's lead!! A perfectly weighted ball is played through the Indian backline, and it found the run of Alpi. The Bangladesh number 10 opted to shoot first time, and it went past the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
What is goig on with the Indian defence? Bangladeshi players are finding space with extreme ease, and another bouncing ball is received by Alpi, almost chiping it above the goalkeeper and under the crossbar. Luckily for India, it went inches over. Pamela and Vincenzo Conti look astonished on the touchline.
After three mintues of stoppage time, the referee blows her whistle to bring the first half to an end. It has been an utterly dominant performance from Bangladesh, with the Bengal Tigers firing two goals past the Young Tigresses. A big second half awaits.
Both sets of players are out on the pitch, and the second half is underway. One change at the break for India, with Anushka Kumari replacing Pritika Barman. Everything to play for the Young Tigresses as they trail by two goals.
Bright start to the second half from India. The Young Tigresses press high up in the field and win the ball, with skipper Julan firing in a shot from the edge of the box. However, it's a bit too central and Yearzan catches the ball.
The tempo of the game has dropped quite a bit, with both sides attempting long balls, looking to catch the other's defence by surprise. For now, it's Bangladesh who are looking more likely to get the next goal. Abhista, taking a free-kick from near the half-way line, takes a wild shot that makes its way to the goalkeeper's gloves.
Bangladesh win a free-kick 20 yards away from goal. Munki steps up to take it, and has a fierce strike that sails just inches over the cross bar. Munni looked like she had the angles covered if it were on target.
With time ticking away, Conti is encouraging her side to push ahead. India put together a good move, with Alva almost being played through. However, the Bangladesh defence cut out the danger, and the Bengal Tigers break at the other end.
Abhista had a shot from just outside the box. It took a slight deflection and missed the top corner by inches. The resulting corner is headed goalwards, but the Yearzan holds on to it in the second time of asking. Meanwhile, there will be five minutes added on as stoppage time.
The referee blwos her whistle to bring the match to an end, and it's a solid win for Bangladesh who dominated the contest throughout. India had their moments, but a complete lack of quality in the opposition's third hurt them today. For now, India remain in the hunt for the final spot, which Bangladesh have already sealed today.
