The FC Goa Vs NorthEast United FC, AIFF Super Cup 2025 match will be live-streamed on the JioHotstar app and website in India. The match will be televised live on the Star Sports Khel channel in India.
Kick-off in Fatorda! The whistle goes, and we’re rolling, FC Goa in their trademark orange, NorthEast United in white, ready to battle it out under the Goan lights. The crowd’s buzzing, drums echoing through the stadium, it’s game on.
Still goalless here in Fatorda, 0-0. FC Goa showing some spark though! A tidy throw-in turns into a teasing ball into the box, but no finish to match. Early intent from the home side, and you can sense they’re warming up nicely.
Drinks break at Fatorda, still 0-0! The Gaurs have seen more of the ball, probing around the Highlanders’ box, but that final touch just hasn’t clicked yet. Both sides catch their breath under the Goan humidity, this one’s simmering, waiting for a spark.
Goa inching closer! Ayush had the crowd on its feet there, found space, pulled the trigger, but the shot sails just wide. He’ll be disappointed with that one, though you’ve got to admire the intent. The Gaurs are knocking, and the Highlanders are feeling the heat.
Udanta threw everything at that one, the run, the control, the strike, but in the end, just not enough push behind it. So close, yet again! Goa keep knocking, but the Highlanders’ goal remains untouched.
Half-time at Fatorda, still 0-0. The Gaurs have done everything but score, peppering the Highlanders’ box with intent and energy. NorthEast United, though, have held their ground, soaking up pressure and staying organised. All to play for in the second half, feels like a goal’s just waiting to burst out of this game.
Back underway at Fatorda! Second half kicks off with the Gaurs eager to turn all that first-half dominance into a goal. The Highlanders regrouped during the break, let’s see who lands the first real punch now.
Second yellow of the night, Pol Moreno the unlucky one this time. A clumsy tackle earns him a caution, and the Highlanders can’t afford more of those. Goa fans sense a shift coming; the intensity’s just gone up a notch.
GOALLL! Against the run of play, NorthEast United strike first. It’s Chema Núñez in the 68th minute, a composed finish that silences the Fatorda crowd. The Highlanders celebrate wildly; the Gaurs are stunned. After all their dominance, Goa now find themselves chasing the game.
Equaliser! 72nd minute, Sahil Tavora brings Fatorda back to life! It’s chaos in the box, Brison almost goes down, bodies everywhere, but Tavora stays alert and slots it home. A true team goal, persistence pays off, and the Gaurs are level! 1-1, and this place is bouncing again.
NorthEast United hit back! Robin Yadav restores the lead, and what a twist this is! The Highlanders refuse to back down, a sharp move, a clean finish, and suddenly they’re 2-1 up. Fatorda falls silent for a moment, disbelief in the air. Goa have work to do again.
Bye bye! Catch you next game, same energy, same chaos, more goals.
